On streaming, she already dropped from #6 to #14 on Spotify and likely to drop more as the week goes on. They need to discount it on iTunes there and release a physical format for UK fans to get. She will need 5-7k to edge to #1 and keep the lead with the natural progression of the chart. StrawberryBlond 14,872 Posted March 1, 2020 Share Posted March 1, 2020 This is the second non-consecutive week at #1 for Blinding Lights and its been out since December, so this is a sign that even if SL doesn't debut at #1, there's still a chance in the weeks to come. Its debut on the chart will then alert everyone to its existence if they didn't know before and they'll be like "oh, new song, I'll check it out." The charts have had the same few songs in the top 5 for a while now, it'll appreciate new blood. We don’t really sell physical singles in stores anymore I think last time we did was when born this way came out because I remember buying it. in the U.K. we care more about what plays on a night out or comes up on Spotify than what’s on the radio Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can someone give me methods on what I can do? i'm not 100% sure on how the latest official charts are calculated here however i heard last year that radio plays, youtube views, streaming on Apple Music and Spotify and i tunes Downloads and physical sales all count towards the Official Charts main chart and they combine all formats somehow to produce an overall chart.
