So I just want your opinions on this.. If the rumors about second single on monday are true then do you think it'll negatively affect Stupid Love? Do you think it's a smart strategy? I'm just interested to see what y'all think about this..

It would be cool. I wish she would release at least extended Version of the video... 

And the end of SL video leaves us with kind of cliffhanger when we see Kindness Punk bag. It seems like a start of continuation? Idk but Kindness Punk would also be a nice tittle.

I don't think we'll get a new single that soon. SL seems to works more than great so they'll definitely push it a lot more.

I hope so. It doesn't make sense to kill momentum of a song that's doing quite well so far

 

Artists like Ariana at their Peaks might be able to get away with super close releases but I don't think Gaga is quite at that level atm

I think it would be great if they release a remix of SL and an alternative video with the love trap and claws outfit.  That way it would increase streams and chart points.  And lots of artists do this strategy of releasing remixes.

I think it will help the era (especially if they release the pre-order that day)

We are in a new era (streaming), when you release an album the hype "dies". So it is really good to promote the era as soon as possible (the album is coming 1-2 months from now, right?) in order to get that whole experience of success.

During BTW Gaga did a whole era in one year (just promoting it and we had FIVE singles) but now its different. They have one album/era, shorter than before, with one lead and the songs that came after the lead are to build the momentum for the LP. 

So, i think its a great idea to release a song next monday with pre-order

But to answer the question, I think that if there is a second single on Monday, it's going to be a less commercial song. She's not going to release two viably commercial songs back-to-back like that. I also wouldn't necessarily anticipate it being as heavily promoted as SL. So, if she does release a little promo/buzz single, I think that's fine.

Yes I was.. I heard it'll be same promo strategy as Selena with 2 singles and 2 videos sponsored by apple
