Well I am sooooo sorry for trying to get you to realize are minuscule the risk of death is right now. If you worry about these potential risks than eventually your life will just fill with worries, it'll consume you. Are you willingly just ignoring how bad that virus is? Coronavirus is a big fat unknown. If the doctors decided to go on strike, our health system would crumble. That’s why it’s been taken so seriously. It is an emergency that could escalate. I’ve already mentioned this: You cannot equate known risks with unknown risks. Should my worry about car accidents (there are 50,000 annually) stop me from getting into a car? No. Because the 50,000 deaths are not likely to jump to 100,000, or 200,000. This is the crucial difference between known risks ans unknown risks. The long-term behaviour of a known risk is stable. RIP to this person. Sad that nearly 3,000 people have died from this virus that is more lethal than the seasonal flu. Old people and people with weakened immune systems are people too. It’s sick that people are saying everything is fine just because THEY don’t fall into the population most affected by this.
