Why was LG6 Postponed from early 2019

As we know Mr S is a legend who has been correct with many artists (INCLUDING LG). He said LG was scheduled for the first half of 2019.

We then got Haus Labs later that year. The reason LG6 was postponed was because LG had a sudden idea to tie in the album with her makeup brand and base each song off a color. Agree?

But they didn't tie Stupid Love and Haus Labs at all. The most they did was use their products in the looks and then be like "oh this we what we used buy it".

Hmm... I don't think LG6 being released in awards season and so close to ASIB would've worked. She would've been extremely busy and the songs and album were smashing WW, and a good portion of 2019 to boot. 

I think the Haus Labs project ties in really well with Chromatica but it means that she must've changed the theme and name of the album since last year to reflect the make up line? That makes it seem like the album wasn't fully realised back then.

She may have already had many songs ready. When it came time to brainstrom looks/visuals she thought certain songs reminded her of certain colors. And that was when she decided to just connect each song to a color.

Not necessarily tie in, but the makeup gave her to color idea that is rumoured to be true.

lol what? They were always planning an album after ASIB. They always knew she was gonna win the oscar and that was the end of that era. It's why they didn't even release other singles.

It's true, they were planning an album after ASIB, but initially they expected an average success, not a repeak of Gaga's career.  The album and singles were selling very good for a very long time. It would be a pretty awkward situation if Shallow would be higher everywhere after 2 weeks of releasing of a brand new single somewhere in March.  

This is the label's policy. If something still sells good, they won't push a new product. Even though Lana mentioned that interscope didn't let her release a new album in 2018, they told her to wait a year. Obviously, the same happened with Gaga and LG6, they didn't let her push a new material after 5 months of releasing ASIB. And it's not because she didn't come up with the concept of colors which sounds as total nonsense.

I think she could've got this idea recently.

She probably filtering through all versions of songs, since she said on interview yesterday she worked with many people this time, opening herself to collabs with other producers and not by herself anymore. Songs have many different versions and sounds and ultimately means genres, too. Which is why SL leak was having V5 on it, won't surprise me if there are SL demos with different sounds and genres.

If you really think about it, it doesn't take long to realise Interscope probably wanted her to start after Billie Eilish is done with her era.

Same label and also it comes out like what a week after her Bond song which is likely gunna be her going quiet for a while.

Same way Gaga rode the wave of ASIB before doing much else, I feel like the schedule needed Billie to do the same and once that was over Gaga could come through. I think that's more believable imo.
