Are these good or bad? That 47 doesn’t look so great lol

Pop songs don’t do well in AM US. The highest charting pop song at the moment (that I saw right now) is Blinding Lights at 32. Stupid Love is actually the second highest pop song at the moment. This chart is dominated by hip hop/trap.

Apple Music isn't as widely used as Amazon and Spotify. I'd be more worried about how well the song is performing on those.

Apple Music doesn’t have strong Pop presence in the US so 47 isn’t as terrible as it looks. Those charts are dominated by Hip-Hop and Rap songs.

I'm not sure streams on the free trial are counted. At least they weren't counted when they started. Ask Taylor Swift

I actually heard that as well; it has to be I think an actual subscription but I could be wrong...

The UK still loves an EDM pop banger to be fair, something that I think is lost on the US these days.

europe generally takes to dance music better than the US, whereas the US market is more geared towards R&B and always has been (hence why OTR was so much bigger in the US, hung up was bigger in europe, ava max has several hits in mainland europe etc.)

Is this really true?

Maybe 4 years ago but Apple Music has grown since then. It is the number one streaming service in the US. barely beating Spotify.

Amazon and Google Music are growing very fast because of Smart Speakers but they are very far behind Apple and Spotify.

I happen to love Amazon because it has lyrics of the songs that scroll up like kareoke since it's launch.
