Okay the pitchfork review wasn't full on praise, but it pretty much said it is refreshing at the current pop landscape and it is a solid pop track, which coming from them is the best we could have hoped for.

As another member stated, the song will take some weeks to properly settle into the USA.

I can assume this will probably be a hit in Europe from the get-go; however, it will peak this week in the US, fall a bit, then (hopefully) do a slow rise back up again once radio gives it a set of steady legs.

But with the rise of pop/dance songs coming from Dua, The Weeknd, Tones, etc; I feel the general peoples of North America might be more inclined to listen to that type of music now. The end of 2020 should show us if that's truly the case.

I don't understand why AM can be this low with the amount of promo?! Is there still hope for AM?

Stupid Love is a grower imo. Once you get used to the mostly lyricless chorus, it slaps. Very easy to listen to by the GP especially teens who like pop. I think it’ll rise.
