I was gonna stay quiet today and just laugh about the meltdowns but I literally can't with some of you. Do you even know how hard it is to debut at #1? 

Her numbers aren't particularly low or whatever. Her numbers have been like that since the BTW era. 5-7 million on YT and she ALWAYS tops all the itunes charts. Like, nothing that we're experiencing is out of the ordinary for Gaga in any way.

I just don't understand why some of you all are so quick to be disappointed or to not like the song anymore or to be done with Gaga in general just because it doesn't have 1000000000 vies on YT in 8 hours. Where have you been since Judas? Ever since Judas this have been exactly the numbers that she always gets. Are people expecting her to get 20million views just because ASIB was a success? Shallow was successful because of a blockbuster Hollywood movie. Compared to any other of Gaga's releases since BTW, Stupid Love is doing just as expected.

Also, people - as with every lead single release - are talking about leaving the fan base or burning their stan cards if it doesn't hit the top 10... this is sooo desperate and sad. Reading this actually makes me feel better about myself, like how ridiculous can you be? Nobody forces you to be a Gaga fan. If you like what she releases, cool. If you don't, just don't be a fan or don't listen to it. Whether you like a song or not does not depend on where it charts. And if it does, that says a lot about your taste in music and about your character in general.

I've never really followed the charts , for me the main thing is just the song, but still, how are things now? Very good, good, bad, or very bad? I remember one time I gave a song for about$ 100 or$ 150, and then I found out that these gifted songs are not counted on the charts, I thought now they changed the rules, but no...

That's correct for most European charts (UK, Germany, France etc.). As far as I know, the US and Canada allow all streams to be counted.
