It's a multitude of different factors. Of course, with the virus becoming more prevalent and with the cancellation of a lot of events, it makes sense that she's not going around from place to place promoting the album/single. I mean, even talk shows aren't having studio audiences anymore. On the other hand, she has a lot more in store for us when we get closer to the album's release date. Plus, we still have the album cover, the tracklist, and many more visuals to go before the album releases. This isn't a dry spell or anything. Also though, the leak certainly had an effect on many Little Monsters' perceptions of the song. Many people [wrongfully] thought that it was going to be different from the leak, and many were disappointed by it. Had the song not leaked, we'd all be talking about it much more. But because we had that month between the leak and the official release, people got used to it, they overplayed it, they got tired of it, etc. That's not on Gaga though, that's completely on them.
