It seemed like quite an intricate rollout that was stopped dead in its tracks. There is 1 video that isn't done but her team said if they can't finish it they will just make do with footage they've got. Not ideal but. The lack of information and lackadaisical response which is only brought forth by some kind of leak is the complete opposite of marketing and public relations protocol. Rule number one in any situation like this is to “stay in front of things” and that’s definitely not happening right now. She didn’t even caption the track list when she posted it after the target fiasco... Yes the situation is more unpredictable than Joe Biden at a beauty pageant, but where is the effort to salvage the fan base at this point? I understand COVID-19 was not her fault and that she wanted to devote her efforts to help, but that was a week ago. Insiders say Gaga is “annoyed and upset” at the leaks but honestly what in the world is she doing about it? If I worked hard on something, and more importantly was passionate about it- id be doing my best to not let it rot while the vultures pick away at it. Is she not confident in the music? Can it not stand alone without the gimmicks like some of the people on here not only need but demand?? Look at what American Idol is doing by turning the performances into live from the contestants homes— that’s effort. So many artists are doing home studio sessions just to do them and they don’t have imminent releases anywhere on the calendar- especially not one that should have been out 15 days ago originally. Why is she not doing a live stream every night or her sitting at her piano, playing acoustic covers of ANYTHING— doesn’t even have to be Chromatica. I’m really starting to believe that musician Gaga is a novelty and she has lost interest and her passion in music as a whole. We as fans need to see her show she authentically feels and believes in the music she’s creating because it’s getting harder to interpret her true feelings about anything. If she can’t identify with her fans anymore and vice-versa, this album is doomed way beyond the wounds inflicted by a COVID-19 induced delay or lack of promo that resulted.
