It's kind of tiring that people are still pushing this idea when literally EVERY single pop singer is manufactured and marketed in the same way those are legends in their respective field, but so are BLACKPINK for K-pop... they are the standard. and around the time she was working with Kendrick, after collaborating with Beyonce, Hatsune and Crayon Pop opened for her so was that a step backward? In fact, she was one of the first big western names to do so. K-Pop is extremely popular right now, and so many Western artists are collaborating with them.
