If the final version is (very) different to the demo version I can imagine that it was leaked intentionally to see the reactions to the song and still having the possibility to change something here or there. Let's just keep in mind a lot of the fanbase was disappointed when Shallow came out and thought it would flop . . . Let's wait and see how the GP reacts to Stupid Love. We're so invested in her that a lot of the time many of us are way too cynical! On topic I really don't think they would ever leak a lead single a month in advance.
