Nina Turner is everything Symone Sanders wishes she was.

Symone is shaking at the Biden campaign HQ.

Nina appeals to the same demographics as Bernie.

The point of a VP is to broaden a candidate's support. That's why Obama picked white/moderate appealing Joe Biden.

Bernie needs to do the same. He needs to pick a candidate that can appeal to moderates.

Rashida Tlaib or Pramila Jayapal. :tony:

AOC would be the obvious choice if she were old enough, and Ilhan Omar is who I'd really want if she weren't so massively polarizing.

Nina Turner should be the head of the DNC. :vegas:

Obama was "progressive" for his time. Of course he isn't progressive by 2020 standards. But by 2008 standards he was.

I can almost guarantee you that will not be happening. Bernie will pick a strong progressive who can carry on his legacy should anything possibly happen to him or will run and continue his legacy after his term is over.

He should pick a younger, WOC, establishment friendly candidate. Stacey Abrams or Kamala Harris

If he wraps this thing up mid-March, then from then to the convention he needs to pull this party together, and satisfy the establishment so there's unity and no 3rd party funny business.

Andrew Yang, I would happily and confidently skip over to my voting station.

I would pick Yang as an option but he’s said that he wants to pick a woman. So I didn’t include him.

Unfortunately Pramila can’t be on his ticket because she is not a natural-born American citizen. But wow I would love it if she could. I helped canvas for her a little here in Seattle some time back.
