The hate here... If only Gaga did even 1/3 of what they're doing with music videos, packaging, promo, etc. They work hard and deserve success.

It's just the normal way general k-pop fan share their love.
stream their album crazily. (and if u rich enough, borrow whole Cyber Cafe's computer and repeat their music vedio)
Not only k-pop fans, but everyone who steam album like this is not healthy (i think). I think it's can't reflect their music quality, it's just show what kind crazy s**t your fans are and how they obsess with you.
This stream=love competition will never end.

p.s. I don't like k-pop, but I'll say this album it's not bad.

Azealia Banks said the same thing once. At first I agreed with her, but in retrospect I don’t think it makes sense. If McDonald’s was generic then they wouldn’t be the world’s most popular burger brand in an international market saturated with competitors. Why should we consider McDonald’s generic? Because they’re a hugely profitable brand with droves of international competitors that try to mimic their success with similar menu items and branding? No one would imitate something if people didn’t like it. I consider waves of people purchasing a product at an unprecedented rate a better indicator of excellence than the pretentious reviews of few people that make a restaurant Michelin rated.

Because they are more accessible, I like McDonald's but I think Burger King for example has much nicer burgers. Thing is there are less than half the amount of Burger King's in the world than there are McDonald's and I would have to travel into my closest city to get one whereas there are several McDonald's near me.

people who hate kpop be like “it’s all FAKE! it encourages unreachable beauty standards bc they all get plastic surgery, they’re all manufactured and don’t have input on the music they make, the fans are crazy, women are treated poorly, and they can’t even date!” and like…idk how to tell you that’s literally every single entertainment industry. like it’s not even an exaggeration, all of that appears in every industry.

i've never listened to it but you're making kpop fans look bad :triggered:

I truly don’t care. The general population loves trash pop music, so this doesn’t surprise me at all.

Same old people saying the same old thing. ‘I don’t hate them, I don’t care about them but...’ bla bla bla. Why do some people here need to hate every artist they don’t like who seems to be successful?

Does it matter? Damage is done

I’m not the biggest fan, but idk why this makes so many of y’all pressed :selena:

Congrats to them, this is super impressive

EDIT: I’ve been listening to the album, and the boys kinda popped the **** off. I don’t understand a lick of what they’re saying, but the music is really ****ing good.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

im assuming "hanteo charts" means their sales in korea. what are the sales like in the US? that would actually validate some of y'all claiming they are a threat to gaga

If gaga released same day as them they would be number 1 easy. Their first week for the ep they last released had sales on par with ASIB first week (can’t remember if it’s more or not), and this one is probably gonna double that ep’s.
