Judy Garland, especially the wizard of Oz, was my obsession as a little kid. Kubrick is my favorite director. The Shining, Clockwork Orange, and Eyes wide Shut are some of my all time favorite movies. I think Gaga uses symbolism and subtext in a very similar way as stanly so I can see how he inspired her.
