I was expecting something really bad, the choreo is great I don't get this whole drama...

This is what I hate about pop music fans, they throw hate so easily it's disgusting. 

It makes me think of how Dua Lipa was seen as a goddess when she started being really successful, and then suddenly everyone started to hate her and dragg her cringy moves everywhere on youtube. 

At the end of the day these fandoms are just a perfect illusion

So she really need to do her best, honestly.  Cos this is where she need to prove herself so she can keep herself booked. And not to half assed it. Each performance matters.
You don’t get to superstardom by being pretty when you call yourself a Singer.

There are hard work need to be done. You don’t really get to prioritize which show matters and which doesn’t.  Less booking will mean the less doors of opportunity opened for her.

Every household name in industry was in this position once, Gaga, Yoncé, Britney,  Rihanna, and more. They performed at random live shows, night clubs, opened for artists whose audience don’t even know or care about them. And you never find a report about them half assing this. 

As much as I love the BTW era gaga had some lackluster performances, this one we literally were watching her stand on top of that moon for 95% of the performance. Yeah her vocals were great but a performance that did not have a great climax. 

 

Gimmick for 90% of the performance and barely any dance moves in the end.

Again She was lucky her vocals were good cause this was pretty boring

I feel like these performances were some of the ones that made people not like gaga so much because she was heavily relying on gimmicks. You can say that these performances can't compare to Normani's because the production and gaga's vocals were great but overall the energy  in these performances were the reason why I think their some of gaga's worst. Still will Stan her and appreciate her work as an artist but I can be honest and say gaga has had some performances after Fame that were pretty boring to watch and they did not help boost her songs.

Fans blaming the choreo when it's the LEAST problematic thing there... 

If you really gonna be mad over this performance at least  be pissed off by the team putting too many effects on her voice, her vocal coach not preparing her well enough or Normani herself for her technique.

Maybe she struggles with dancing while singing live like many performers but usually they put loud backing vocals to help with that.

This is SUCH A REACH HAHA.  Does the name Dua Lipa mean anything to you? Lol. There is over a decade of critiquing Britney’s choreo on this website alone.
