Conservatives are more likely to be friends with liberals than vice versa

My point is Democrats also vote for racists and criminals, yet they claim to be anti that. They also make excuses for criminals and racists. The right is more honest with their racism and support of criminals, while the left are more passive aggressive and liars.

Because to be friends with a liberal, a conservative has to accept that their friend supports things like gun control, healthcare, education, etc.

To be friends with a conservative, a liberal has to accept that their friend supports things like racism, trans/homophobia, xenophobia, and sexism. Or at least aligns themselves with those that do

You’re also conflating Democrat and “left” when they are not the same thing. More moderate Dems are def WASPy racist, but the farther left socialist/communist/anarchist sects of the political field? Definitely not.

And please don’t make this a “Dems vs Republicans” thing when it’s really the elites that will make excuses for crooks, full stop. Trump just commuted one of Illinois’ most famously corrupt governors today for no apparent reason outside of his being part of a season of celebrity apprentice lol Clinton pardoned Marc Rich. This isn’t a Dems are liars, Republicans are honest. The global elite protect one another and do so by whatever means necessary. They are the party of the purse.

the poll refers to the general populace, though, who tend to operate very differently from party elite (see, 2016 election where Sanders rose to prominence and Trump got elected).

But it is true that alot of leftists label everything as racist and sexist to get what they want, not to actually helping minorities. They will accuse you of any trigger word like racism and sexism to gain socially and politically.

Example is if you dont vote for Hilary, you are a sexist Bernie bro. Another example is using the privilege argument to make fun of people instead of putting awareness on minorities. Or talking about things minorities dont complain about like Halloween costumes and braided hair. Or wearing hijab to the womens march and protesting the Muslim ban, while supporting a Democrat who openly kills Muslims.

So its more complicated than Leftists are just good intentioned people who are fighting for equality and human rights.

The far left boasts about being open-minded and tolerant towards everyone except when it's a conservative. I just find it a little hypocritical to preach about how accepting you are of everyone while hating half of the country. I understand the republican party has its issues but democrats aren't perfect either. I hope we can get to a place where we can disagree with other people without immediately labeling them as racist/sexist/homophobic etc. If assuming that an entire group of people are those things doesn't make you closed-minded, then I don't know what does.

First, there is a distinction that needs to be made between friends and acquaintances. 

Secondly, conservatives fall in a wide range of people. Some conservatives hate Trump and all the **** he stands for. Some are posting confederate flags and “Build that Wall-Send the Dreamers Back” on Facebook. 

I’m friends with some conservatives in the first category. If you are in the second category, you aren’t in my life as a friend.

Almost all the liberals here pretty much align with that the data says, while the conservatives and moderates that posted seem to be far more tolerant than their “opposition”. What the liberals here also show aligns with some research that showed that liberals tend to get conservative perspectives wrong most of the time, while conservatives tend to have a far more accurate reading of liberals values. The liberals on this page somehow think ALL conservatives seem to be dogmatic KKK members —- yikes

You clearly haven’t talked to many conservatives have you ?

but on the flip side it could be argued that the left is in favor of racial discrimination towards non-POC, pedophilia, communism, the eradication of the first amendment etc etc - typically the extremes are not indicative of most the members of any given party 

most people are actually moderate
