Yes but protein isn't all what muscles need unfortunately. You also need enough fat and carbs. Chicken is literally one of the very few things that I can eat that helps me meet all 3 requirements, considering that my diet caloric intake is limited to 1,200$ a day and gives me very little flexibility.

Well depends on your height, mine is 5'8" so unless I'm very muscular (which I'm not) I must limit my caloric intake to keep my body fat % low. I can eat 1500 kcal for maintenance, but now I'm trying to reduce body fat again.

One cup of beans (around 400 kcal) which would be basically one whole meal for me, having only 14g of protein is not enough lol.

As I said before, I'm currently limited to 1200k in an ENTIRE day, so that's three meals.

Right now, I also use tuna a lot, considering that 240k calories have like 30g protein which is a very good ratio.
