Compare monsters with katycats, Bey fans, bts fans or other superstar fans and they are mostly the same. Bernie supporters arent like any other democrat supporters. It is very, very difficult for either group to accept any individual or organization opposing their candidate. They are so insufferably hostile to opposing viewpoints. None of the other candidates in the Democratic primary have had to publicly admonish their supporters writ large, and on numerous occasions spanning two presidential cycles. It's embarrassing and ugly. I don't blame Bernie entirely for his supporters' behavior, since he is for the most part conciliatory and respectful - though obviously he needs to continue to do a better job of reining them in. There's some intervening variable that causes a person to be a) a supporter of Bernie Sanders, and b) horrendous toward others. I'm not sure what it is. Ultimately, I know Bernie stands with unions even when they disagree with him. I stand with our unions, too. I wonder whether his supporters still will. Angry at the baseless and disproportional smears that are constantly spewed Bernie's way by the psuedo-progressive establishment to prevent any "radical" change (which is not in fact radical, as we are simply asking to have what every other industrialized nation has) from occurring in this country when there are people in hopeless despair and dying. Angry that money speaks louder than protecting those people. Angry that people would rather focus on taking a candidate with the highest likelihood of protecting those people down - simply because someone said something mean to them on Twitter - rather than focus on those who are suffering and don't have time to waste.
