So accurate in fact that it's been proposed that if humans ever became space travellers and found a way cover a distance faster than light we could use Pulsars as a form of map and GPS cuz each pulsar has its own unique pattern In reality tho I was joking about this being a pulsar. one signal every 16 days is way too slow for a pulsar. It's rotation would have to be so slow that it wouldn't emit any magnetic pulses for us to detect Neutron stars are extremely small (you could walk across them in just a few hours if it was possible to survive their intense gravity) so a spin every 16 days would mean the star would be barely rotating at all Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

They likely aren't around anymore, or if they are still around they would be so advanced that they probably wouldn't care to talk to us or see us as of any significance I feel like alien communication back and fourth between races just don't happen...
