White Nationalists Put on the Same Threat Level as ISIS

The FBI has elevated racially-motivated violent extremism to a “national threat priority,” in yet another sign that the U.S. government has finally woken up to the threat posed by white nationalists and neo-Nazis at home and abroad.

 

In a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray outlined several concrete steps the agency had taken to combat violent far-right extremists, explaining that the “national threat priority” designation puts those groups or individuals on the same footing as ISIS” in terms of the resources the FBI will devote to it.

Antifa attends protests and strikes with weapons. They are not nonviolent. They give good-natured people a bad name. I don’t think embracing radicalism is going to defeat far-right racism, in fact that is exactly what hardliners want. Antifa want to be as “tough” as the fascists, which is so wrong.

They are fighting the fascists and far right, that is a good thing. Fascists should be fought anyway possible. Even if that means using violence. If no one stands up to them, they will take over. Unfortunately the only ones who do stand up to them, is Antifa. 

The reason why I don't like them is because they occasionally attack apparently innocent people, which is not okay. They are also known for threatening anyone on the right. They  tend to brand anyone they don't like a nazi and fascists. There are many reasons to not like them, but I don't think you can compare them to the far-right who hates anyone that isn't white and straight.

No. Look up what type of actions antifa groups actually do, you will be surprised.

Here in Europe most of antifa groups activities are non-violent and consist of intern intellectual meetings on politics subjects, being loud and present on G7, G8, or COP events, helping refugees to cross borders in Italy or France, stopping transphobes or racists from leafleting sh*t on the streets... They have to take security mesures to protect themselves (hiding their faces, using pseudonymes, adopting full black outfit) because they are literally hunted by fascists groups. 

Many leftists consider themselves as anti-capitalists and anti-racists, let me tell you it's basically the antifascist ideology. 

Liberal propaganda makes you say that far-left and far-right extremism or else go hand in hand, you don't have to believe that.
