They should have called for a recanvass last week. Or pushed it to be redone in June during Iowa's regular primary.

The thing is, this decision is clearly political, and we'd be naive to assume it isn't.

If they were interested in transparency, they would hold a press conference and announce that the SDE counts cannot be trusted because there are clear, serious errors. But, they aren't.

The biggest kii of all of this is that THIS kind of political action has had more impact on the results of an election than anything Russia did in 2016 :deadbanana:

Or the abuse of Power on Trump's end to try and get dirt on opponent

Not to downplay how despicable what Trump did is but intentional bias and subtle fixes by the DNC to make bump impacts on election makes the Democrats (the ones responsible anyway) kinda hypocrites when they say what Trump did disrespects democracy

They are doing the same thing just with their own candidates :triggered:

I don't love Bernie in everyway u know that. I'm a casual stan not a hardcore endorser of him... And even then I reluctantly only root for him cuz I thought the other 2 likely to win like Pete or Biden would accomplish way too little to change the status quo

But I'd like to think I'm one of the least biased ppl out there cuz I try REALLY REALLY hard to see all the perspectives and factors and validity in opinions (even the ones I don't agree with fully)

And it's pretty obvious to me they are doing everything they can to subtly put obstacles along every step of the way against Bernie to make sure his chances of winning are reduced. It's very obvious at this point :rip:

Congratulations, Democratic Party, you just played yourself.

Does anyone care to explain how someone who got 6k less votes magically got 2 more SDE’s? :smh:

Whispering

The SDE tally has changed slightly.

Buttigieg: 564.0124 (+0.2896)

Sanders: 561.5280 (-0.9693)

Warren: 388.4800 (+1.4113)

Biden: 339.6780 (-1.4936)

Klobuchar: 263.8830 (-0.3208)

Congrats, again, to Pete and his team. They worked hard for this win!

Oop I hope you’re ready to be labeled a conspiracy theorist by the enlightened centrists of GGD :laughga:

eh, it's not a conspiracy really. Even the big media giants like CNN and MSNBC recognize how absolutely negligent the Iowa Democrats have been. They created the space for these theories to mature. Even the Biden campaign was calling it rigged and said they had no cofidence.

It’s not a conspiracy at all. There are multiple mainstream media outlets confirming that the results are filled with errors. Also the countless threads on Twitter, from reputable sources, that first brought these inconsistencies and errors to light.

That hasn’t stopped users here from calling it a CoNsPiRaCy ThEoRy though.

You're right, they are :emma:

If the DNC really cared about Unity, they would allow all of the candidates to draw distinctions with each other in their own terms and not try to deflate any candidate's chances. It would be only positive coverage for all of them.

That makes sense to me, but no, we've got members of the DNC itself spending money to buy attack ads against the current frontrunner, people in Bloomberg's campaign working at the DNC who have gone on air and admitted that their goal is to stop Sanders from winning, and DNC officials wanting to change the rules so he cant win.

And that is how we will lose the election. They weren't wrong for screaming "UNITY!" for 3 years - they were wrong for not meaning it

Trump could run away with this thing, and the fact that people aren't taking this seriously in high places leaves one to consider the fact that they just literally don't want to beat Trump that badly :smh: It's a mess.
