But I will say nowadays onlike ppl go off based on very little. U don't have to say much to trigger some ppl with the smallest things.

 

Its one reason I have a love hate relationship with politics. Love discussing it but ppls exagerated attitudes on everything are so annoying

These things would still happen but to different people and in a different context.

The corporate system have a collective goal, they will reach it weather its under a Democrat or a Republican.

They use the other party to scare you into voting and accepting your party, this way, no real change will ever happen.

Its invalid weather you vote Democrat or Republican, what you are actually voting for is the corporate system, wall street, and the military industrial complex.

Their power and goals wont change or be effected if its under a democrat or a republican.

Disclaimer: I'm sure I'll be attacked for this, even though Bernie is my second choice now that Castro's out.

Sigh. I'm a Warren supporter and I actually like Bernie's policies, but my god many (NOT ALL) of his online supporters on twitter are obnoxious as f*ck. Several times I have made a positive comment about Warren, without even mentioning Bernie, and have been absolutely swarmed. I truly hope some are bots...because if they are all real people we're f*cked. And yes, a few of the people IRL can be horrible, too. My friend was at the infamous Nevada caucus in '16 where a Bernie supporter threw a f*cking chair.

They really need to start pointing out Bernie's good points, and stop going "why do you hate poor people" or "you must be rich and white" (I'm not rich, nor am I white) or "you must want everyone to die." The obnoxious, infantile comebacks just don't help Bernie. And I wonder if this hurts him in caucuses (which ironically, people who support him tried to keep in place)—because many people, who have a second choice if their first isn't viable, instead went to someone else or refused to back Bernie.

I'm obviously not going to let twitter people influence my decision, but I'm baffled that people think mass bullying is a good idea. It's like stan twitter translated into a political arena, and it's so freaking dumb. Every politician has done some incredibly sh*tty things and has some sh*tty positions—even Jimmy Carter and the situation with Suharto could arguably be considered a war crime. Propping them up as some infallible figure helps no one.

But that's a problem with all supporters. Point out that Bernie has an atrocious history on guns, up until about seven years ago, and  you suddenly are an evil centrist. Point out that Bernie has shifted on immigration from just a decade ago, when he was on Lou Dobbs, so maybe don't go after Warren for shifting, too, on certain issues.... and suddenly you are called a liar—even if there is video evidence.

I am just so, so tired. And it's annoying because the Bernie, Yang, and Warren folks need to stop cannibalizing one another. People need to chip into Biden's firewall with Black supporters in the South (bernie may win younger supporters, but Biden still has anywhere from a 25-50 point lead in multiple polls)...but instead they just waste time arguing petty b*ll. And sadly, Steyer and Bloomberg are the ones chipping into Biden's firewall....which means we might have a contested convention.

Then again, if we have a contested convention, maybe we'll get my dream Sherrod Brown/Ruben Gallego or Sherrod Brown/Tammy Baldwin ticket....and bring in Ohio, Arizona, or Wisconsin. He's not my favorite (not in favor of immediate single payer), but he'd bring Ohio and dominate the electoral college swing states with Gallego or Baldwin. And he's one of the handful of politicians the left, center left, and moderate wings all seem okay with.
