Empathy and compassion doesn't end at people you know.

I don’t even understand the logic of how this post came to be

its envy .. her economic success supersedes her humanity …

c'mon … emotional trauma (PTSD) is a little understood much less treatable affliction … her money only helps her seek the best available treatments … Money doesn't cure every problem that a human can have, and being rich adds new problems to it …. (not that I would know really)

like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true

TW: sexual assault, PTSD

I know some of you are probably gonna think I'm dramatic for worrying about this and I'm not trying to make this bigger than it is.

But considering that Gaga told Oprah that she suffered a psychotic break after a court deposition because her PTSD was triggered and that deposition was most likely the one she gave for Kesha's case (because that was a very triggering conversation and I don't remember any other depositions she gave after), I really hope this outcome didn't/doesn't trigger her.

She obviously didn't  do anything wrong, all she did was support a friend and fellow survivor and offer her help. But I can just imagine how guilty she must feel that her private texts with Kesha are the reason Kesha has to literally pay the person who assaulted her now. And I hope both her and Kesha take good care of themselves now and surround themselves with loved ones who make sure they're okay because they don't deserve this. And I hope that Gaga knows that this is not her fault.

im sure gaga will be ok and she knows that us monsters and her family and friends are all here for her

Robin Williams was rich and Caucasian. The world loved him. He had millions of people who cared about him and yet still suffered from depression and ended up commiting suicide. Mental health doesnt care how much money you have or what color your skin is. Period.

I’m sure she’s a lot better than me, you and this whole forum altogether.

what’s with this forced sympathy for Gaga’s traumas. she’s a grownup who definitely can take care of herself. she has an agenda to take care of other victims with BTW foundation (which is ADMIRABLE AND IMPORTANT TBH) so that’s why she’s always mentioning it so it validates her authority (sort of speak) to talk about the matter.

don’t fool yourself thinking she’s some helpless girl tho. she’s not.

stop the drama. start the music.

No one is saying she's a helpless girl? What's with some of you SERIOUS lack of empathy and lack of understanding how trauma operates? Gaga was RAPED several times by the same person and situations like that can seriously mess up with your head, that's why she got a psychotic flare during the court deposition, because she was triggered most likely by Dr. Luke's lawyers.

I swear you have only been throwing **** at Gaga lately, and it’s a bad look boo. Get off this site and go stan someone else who releases music every 6 months and doesn’t have any kind of mental or physical health issues.

Hoping she feels better, although it'll still be traumatic for a while I think.

I also hope the leak isn't secretly upsetting her too

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

@ all the people dismissing this—what a sad life to have zero empathy for anyone. It takes less time and effort to be like “oh I hadn’t thought of that, hope she’s okay” than it does to write an essay about why you shouldn’t have to care

please don’t bring yourself down worrying about her. she has access to all the best resources and a loving family.

i think that’s a bit of a snap judgement. people have empathy for their friends and family, who are in their lives on a personal level. empathy can be heavy on the heart, and emotionally draining. care about those who you can help and who depend on you, not those who are far away and have their own solid support system which you are not a part of.

Robin Williams was a little different since the depression was brought on by Parkinson’s (Parkinson’s decreases dopamine production)

Definitely not arguing with your point that rich white people can be depressed—medical stuff is just interesting

I get your point. Medical issues mental or otherwise does not discriminate.

It was more directed at the people who felt the need to write out a rant about why it’s stupid to care about someone they don’t know. Not the people who just scrolled past

at least one of them has been posting needlessly negative and hateful stuff all over for awhile anyway
