The justice system is so faulty. People get put in prison and even get the death penalty for something they did not commit. I'm not going to believe that she's a liar after everything that's happened to her up until now; I'm just not. The fact that she is found guilty of defamation, to me, says that the system is broken.

You can have that opinion I never stated that she flat out lied. I said IF all this is true then she's not right at all. And you CANNOT say she was clearly assaulted and then say you "think" she didn't lie. An opinion can never be a fact. I hope she was lying in this case cause if not, she just lost a battle that she should've won, but I see reasonings with both sides. Aziz Ansari ( idk how to spell it) is the reason I do take time to let things come out first. It's ok to listen to all women's claims but to me its not fair to automatically bash and label someone without a fair trial unless its blatantly obvious, aka they admit to it or proof is already provided. I'd hate for anyone to just tell everyone "I was assaulted by King" and I'd just get bashed before I can even say absolutely anything. Overall the situation just sucks.

Of course no one would ever want to be labelled as something they're not, but that is precisely why I brought up that statistic. 2-8% of reported sexual assault crimes are false. Do you understand how minuscule that is? Is it feasible possible that she lied? I guess. Anything's possible. That said, the way she responds to this incident of hers, especially during the time of Rainbow/Praying, is extremely telling. If she's lying, then she deserves an Oscar for acting or something.

As for evidence and proof...look, ideally we would have that to help either prove or disprove a case. The problem is, it is extremely  difficult to get any sort of tangible evidence. Sexual assault cases are largely he said/she said cases, and that's why so many of these criminals get away scot-free. Unless you go to the police right after an assault has happened, there can be little to no tangible evidence of an assault.

I mean Katy pretty much testified that Kesha was lying when She texted Gaga about Katy being raped... so how exactly was she expecting to win this on??

I'm sorry, but I can't get over the fact that some of y'all are like, "Well, maybe she lied". I highly  doubt she did. If any interview, any interaction with someone else, etc. shows anything, it's that she is telling the truth about what happened to her.

LOL Katy never been abuseed by Dr Luke, so don't act like if you were a psychatrist. If Katy said she was never been raped or sexually abused by Dr Luke, it's true. She will not risk the jail to parjure herself to punish someone allegely guilty... This is nonsense ! 

 

Kesha lied so many times, with her video under oath and the Katy Perry thing. These lies clearly don't help her in that case.

However, to me, this seems like a young, naive woman who's just starting her career (relatively speaking) not wanting to get into any sort of controversy. This, to me, looks like a classic case of a victim not wanting to admit something awful happened to them in fear of what would happen to them later down the road (again, especially because this is so early in her career). 

Plus, that isn't to say other stuff happened after  this as well.

Not at all. The alleged raped came in 2009. She was in this industry for almost 4 years when it's happen. And we saw her close to Dr Luke after this, like she was sitting next to him during the famous picture of the crowd during the Grammy when GaGa was on stage wit tht meat dress.
