smh

She's repeated endlessly now that she took time to address the Michael Jackson documentary because, whether it's true or not, it offers a realistic description (as confirmed by multiple experts) of how child grooming and sexual abuse happens. She's not gonna do an episode about every ****ing rapist :rip:

I'm not the biggest Oprah fan (I think she's toxically materialistic in her approach to creating happiness for people on the other side of the tv) but this line of criticism is complete bs, especially when you're gonna put "Free Bill Cosby" in there. Clearly he's trying to make some evil white people vs. innocent black people storyline happen and I'm not here for that.

And how was she supposed to know about all this back then? So we're blaming women for men being trash?

What year was that photo taken? Rose McGowan was raped by Weinstien in 1997 and even then when she told people about what happened IN '97 they talked about how people were already being victimized by him, and how his agents were actively trying to squash news coverage about allegations.

I'm not defending Snoop Dogg by any means because both Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson are/were sexual offenders or rapists and deserve to be condemned because there is absolutely zero reason to rape or abuse someone in general and one is a sh*t person if they do that, and they're all in the same boat.

The problem with our culture is too often than not, we act like celebrities aren't like other people and aren't capable of abhorrent actions like rape; when they 100% are and it 100% happens and there are 100% sex trafficking/child abuse/rape rings in Hollywood and in many aspects of society where a group of "celebrities" or "public figures" congregate. People just usually like to pretend that their idols are good people. Just like if someone you were a fan of/liked did something horrible like rape, I'm sure at least part of you would feel scared or whacked out or want to defend them.

But we can't do that, and we need to hold rapists and abusers accountable. And people like Oprah need to do their research with people she interacts with, because she's a public figure, and if there's allegations against someone or even worse like with Weinstien, a trail of allegations, it's best to just not associate with those people,

Not that I’m defining anything or anyone, but there have been rumors about Harvey for literal decades, it was an open secret. If this info was able to filter down to common people like us then industry people knew about it for sure

who will love me when the night is over

I love her but this is some hot tea, I think it's awkward how a lot of her interviews she just ask the guests about how rich they are, like, I never watched her JK Rowling interview in full cause one third of it is talking about being a billionaire

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
