What will be interesting is what the IDP will do with regard to the final alignment votes that exceeded the total number of first alignment votes. It's likely human error for these but that also affects the calculation for SDE's. IDK what the result will be because I don't have a balanced bubble of information out there. I've seen some sources showing other candidates who got shafted from this but what i have seen has been disproportionately hurting Bernie. So, we'll have to leave it up to the campaigns to push for those kind of corrections. I don't have a specific one in mind as we're talking here. Yes, originally I was thinking it would be the same number of delegates until I learned the disparity in the congressional district. However, if the IDP makes corrections that cause Sanders to have more SDE's than Pete, then it'll be the first option with them tied at 13 - 13 regardless. And even if the corrections make Pete's lead in SDE's greater, the likely change in SDE's to benefit either isn't going to give Pete more than that 2 delegate lead in the second option. So at the end of all this Bernie/Pete leave iowa with either the same number of national delegates or Pete edges out by 2. Either way, the most likely scenario heading out of NH will be a slight delegate lead for Bernie over Pete with Warren and Joe in 3rd and 4th place respectively. Other than that, the positive chances Bernie and Bernie supporters pushed until now are really small. So you can talk big, but in politics results matter.
