erfaan 2,836
Musically, yes. However as an Artist and as a person, no.
FameHookah 4,645
Sadly no In still waiting for this decade's it girl but so far these new girls are so bland, i like some of their songs but they are not the while package like gaga was back then. She still has it but now in a different and more mature way which is good for her legacy but not so much for the pop scene. FameGa all the way thru ARTPOPGa spoiled me so badly that my bar is set TOO high now.. WTF is MDNA

OMonster 14,720
No, she will always be my number one and that's because my support of her extends beyond musical taste. There's nothing, musically, she could do that would stop me enjoying her work. I love Gaga for her creativity, theatrics, resilience and general way of being. No artist could ever match that, even if they release music that is more suited to my taste. I am a big fan of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, but I am nowhere near as interested in what they do. If Harry, for example, dropped an album I wasn't keen on, I'd 'forget him' until he pops back up. With Gaga, she'll always be there and I'll always be waiting for what's next - no matter what comes before. subtext / fantasy

gagzus 16,074
No absolutely not but thankfully because Gaga takes her time to perfect her music I explore other avenues of music. At the moment I am obsessed with retro disco music from the 70s and 80s and I’m hoping she’ll give us some disco music in the future like she was teasing LG5 to be. brucee 1,690
I think Lana del Rey is the only girl alive that takes as much place in my life as Gagita does (and Grimes in third place)... for the pop game. Also Bowie and Manson for the boys (but I'm sick of Manson - kinda had to cancel my daddy) hello hello baby.
TheAlexer 1,343
Honestly, Kesha is slowly overtaking Gaga for me. She's just so much more personal with her fans, she has the right balance between fun uptempo songs and ballads, her new album is fantastic, her clothing style and make-up is unique, she has a really great personality and humour and she seems to have stayed true to her roots while also evolving. Meanwhile with Gaga I feel like she's slowly trying to transition into being "America's sweetheart"
Magui 2,629
Music wise probably, there's a lot of other artists i listen frequently, some current ones, some not so popular these days, i actually listen o lot of music from decades ago. But as an artist no, as a preformer and entertainer no. And she is the only one i really pay attention.
tylerjs 5,916
No, but recently having so much empty space between “Gaga” eras (meaning not particularly including ASIB), I have gotten into k-pop. Primarily male-only groups, initially being BTS and ended up falling into other groups like EXO, NCT, SHINee, etc. Honestly, with as much **** as people talk about BTS/k-pop groups in general, they really are top-tier performers. Amazing vocals, beyond professional choreo, mesmerizing stage productions and video visuals—these people are period, point blank, professional entertainers. And most of the time they’re super sweet, love and support their fans unconditionally, and some groups even produce and choreograph their entire sets and albums from top to bottom. It’s real quite impressive, however the caveat to it all is some obsessive fans (in all groups) can just ruin it for everyone else. But then again, those type of shitty, ungrateful fans appear in every fan base, don’t they? 😉 but yeah, I’d say a few top tier kpop groups have come really close to catching my eye as much as Gaga has. Their fashion, bop-level records, and stunning visuals really are some of the most creative and artistic things I’ve heard/seen in a long time. Gaga of course will always reign supreme in my eyes just because of my history with her music and career, but these boys over in Korea are really serving it 24/7. In fact, I’ve gotten so into their music, that I rarely listen to music in English anymore. Like whenever I have my headphones in or am listening to music in the car, it’s almost certainly in korean or mandarin (I like c-pop too lmao). Their music is that catchy and interesting, i really just can’t get it out of my head. I’m in deep 😭 🇨🇺🇧🇸 monica from rhoslc kinda had a point
