Joe Biden Caught (Again) Lying About Involvement in Civil Rights Movement

A journalist has done an extensive piece investigating Joe Biden's past and current lies about his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement used to try and help his campaign and appeal to Black voters. However, these lies have previously been debunked, and Biden actually admitted to his actual actions, and even went a long time without repeating the lies. There are also countless videos, speeches, and quotes of Biden the author found showing all this. For some reason, Biden has chosen to revive these lies for his 2020 campaign.

Here's a synopsis:

In 1987, when Joe Biden was running for President for the very first time, his campaign got swallowed up in a swarm of lies that Joe Biden told about himself all over the country. First, Biden was caught plagiarizing a famous speech from British Labour Party Leader Neil Kinnock - including parts of the speech that came straight from Kinnock’s personal life that simply were not true for Joe Biden. Then, he plagiarized yet another speech from the late Robert Kennedy and another from JFK and another from Hubert Humphrey. You have to understand - this was pre-Internet, pre-social media, and something in Joe Biden’s mind made him think he could get away with it. He didn’t. And it ultimately tanked his campaign.

On two very important occasions, Joe Biden actually told the entire truth about his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement. Nearly everything else has been a lie. I’ve counted at least 31 different lies he has told about being an activist, organizer, sit-in demonstrator, boycott leader, voter registration volunteer, Black church trainee and more in the Civil Rights Movement, but every single time I dig, I actually find more interviews, more lies, more fabrications, more tales he told to voters, reporters, historians, and more.

After nearly losing his career because of lies, from 1987 until 2014 Joe Biden appeared to refrain from telling any at all about his role in the Civil Rights Movement. But suddenly, while giving a speech at a King Day Breakfast in January of 2014 for the National Action Network, he resorted back to the same old debunked lies and also added one brand new one that he had never told in his entire life saying that he was regularly trained for the Civil Rights Movement in 1960 on Sunday mornings in Black churches . 

From 2014 until early 2019, Joe Biden would not again repeat the false claim that he was an activist and organizer in the Civil Rights Movement. But once he began running again, he could not resist himself. It’s as if he is not fully clear on how the Internet works.

TYT also covered this, and began by stating that they know they will get backlash from certain Dems who say you can't critique any moderate candidate or be critical or honest about them because the only important thing is defeating Trump. However, they are not interested in lying to viewers and will be honest by pointing out every candidates' weaknesses to make sure we choose the right one to go head-to-head with Trump.

Because there is no doubt Trump will use all this against Biden if he's the nominee.

I'm honestly not sure. I haven't heard about or come across the story. 

Regardless, this is still an issue, and if that's also true then it's yet even more evidence of what a liar he is. Trump is shook!

That did happen. He suspended his first presidential campaign in disgrace after admitting that he had both lied about his record and plagiarized parts of his speeches directly from someone running in the UK and doing abysmally, partly as a result of that scandal. He said he graduated top of his class, with 3 degrees, and a bunch of other like... obviously and provably false things. It was really dumb tbh  

Maybe I'm a partisan hack for saying it, but I believe this story because Joe does have a history about lying about really silly things. I think he just panics more than hes malicious, but who knows tbh, I'm giving him credit there and I probably shouldn't be

It's not an age thing either, hes been doing it for a while  Like, when he just flat out told people Bernie had doctored footage, and a few other things these past few weeks, I forgot that media was pretty bought and sold and expected them to immediately fact check him and correct him, but there's been very little of it so far

Meanwhile Bernie has actually lead sit ins, chained himself to black protesters to prevent the installation of Willis Wagons (poorly constructed trailers made for black people to learn in since they were barred from using white classrooms) and was even arrested for protesting segregation:

 

 

Bernie almost never talks about his civil rights activism. But when he does he can bring up news articles and old photos taken of these events, no lies or fabrications are needed.

It’s because the media gives Biden a free pass. He can lie and lie and lie some more and they’ll barely cover it . If more black people knew of his lies his support would drop.

On the flip side, if Bernie was more vocal of his civil rights activism his black support would skyrocket.
