We know this about Gaga. Most of us love the speeches in all her shows and we know they are supposed to be exaggerated. We know she's acting, we're not stupid. But those parts of the Enigma show are really poorly executed imo. The accent is irritating and everything she says comes across as cringey. She doesn't exude the same bad bitch energy that she has in previous shows. It's nowhere near the same caliber as the monster ball or born this way ball. They had their cheesy moments but it was done right.

I guess that's a matter of opinion. I never saw either of those other 2 shows live, but own the Monster Ball DVD and have seen the full show of BTWB online, and I didn't pick up on any drastically different "bad bitch energy." The monologues in those shows were campy and overdramatic as hell too. It's all been equally ridiculous. This kind of criticism smacks of "only her early stuff was good" energy.

The Enigma monologues make me literally laugh, as did the ones from the other shows. At no point have I ever truly been like "wow, what a bad ass bitch she is." I respect and admire her IDGAF energy, though.

I've never seen a fan base have such a love hate relationship with their performer. Everytime I come on (well most times) someone is being a sick human to another person. Or basically tearing Gaga apart. I don't get it. I just don't, and there are some really cool people on here too so let that be known. I just don't understand the others who are never satisfied. That's kinda a personal problem I guess and maybe they need to look at themselves IDK.

Those of us who haven't been able to get to Vegas had such a great time tonight. Enigma is Gaga having fun. Her music, her tours, the great ASIB performance, the crazy, campy fun of Enigma are all indelibly Gaga. I love her, appreciate the brilliant artist and beautiful person, and just f*cking enjoy her. Gaga is a gift.

After ten years of loving Gaga and her music ASIB made me crazy enough to lurk and finally join GGD. I found smart, funny people who love Gaga. What could be better. I also found that GGD attracts trolls. I try to avoid people like that in the real world. A MAGA hat wearing neighbor is just "expressing his opinions". Like many of the opinions expressed here they're just hateful. If you don't realize you're being hateful you need to take another look.  I know the mods here do a balancing act but these people in real life and on GGD are just black holes.

Apparently I can’t react anymore on here (stupid limits :spin: ) but I want to say 100 percent I agree with you.

its never totally going to be troll free.

But thank you for staying!

Watching the fans fight in the pit beneath her was so hard. One group of kids was shouting Stupid Love and the other group was drowning them out with “F*ck You”s . It was so cringey because it was directly beneath her she could see it all.

I watched the show last night. I dont remember this sounding this way. Smells fishy

I was watching it too last night and unfortunately it was originally like that. Between the first and last lines I think it was completely off key, even in the easier parts, so I think she had a technical problem.

Cavadour

Didn't want to wade through 185 pages of this thread and get more bad vibes from frustrated ppl. I just watched the whole show on YT rn and it was a blast. Sure there's not much *NEW* stuff in it, but at the same time the emotion is always there, fresh and radiating. The passion of Lady G and all the hard working artist with her is oozing all the time. I read here and there since some months now shady comments about Gags voice... please... oh please... there's nothing else but praise about her singing. That short little woman is such a miraculous ball of love.

Great great gig. Thank you LG and f*ck the Stupid Love leakers.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

it's amazing how big of a nostalgia lens people view TMB through.

Everyone shitting on her Bad Romance performance last night but I knew Gaga still had it when the song started and she belted out the melisma with zero issues. It's one of the most important parts of the song to give that impact, and she did it effortlessly.

Exactly, she even said in interviews that she's not the type of performer to repeat a routine again and again and again to put on a perfect show, like Beyoncé or Madonna. Have these people forgot what Gaga shows are truly about? :koons:

But... she does repeat the exact same routine again and again? She literally says the exact same things every night.

The only difference is that Gaga can't perfect it:messga:
