PoshLife 17,019
Good Monmouth poll for Biden and Sanders given they’re both up from the December poll. Morning Consult poll has some good news for Sanders, who has decreased Biden’s lead, though Biden is still in front. the real story here is that Sanders has actually grown his support over the past month - prior to December he was never above a 21% polling average, and he’s now broken above that for the first time since like March 2019 (before Biden even announced). I didn’t anticipate that happening but if he’s actually surging, he’s doing it at exactly the right time (right before Iowa and New Hampshire vote) Biden is still getting over a quarter of the primary electorate though, more than any other candidate. Once South Carolina and the Super Tuesday states vote, I still don’t see how anyone catches up to him.

Today’s polls are giving us a lot to talk about!

I don’t see Warren, Tulsi, Amy and even Pete lasting much longer.

Chickens in Malibu 7,873
Biden go away. ****ing go away you bitch. Saying Marijuana should still be a crime? WHAT ****ING CENTURY DO YOU STILL LIVE IN? You're a republican in disguise. Don't vote for him. Let Trump win. Heck even if Trump was running on the democratic ticket he'd be in favor of Marijuana. HorusRa2 5,005
The argument for Bernie is that he is at a huge advantage in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada (due to last election performance, proximity to VT and the 2 out of 3 being caucuses). All Bernie needs to do is close the gap on Biden's lead, and win all three of the early states before SC and he can crack the electability of Biden in SC. Bernie doesn't even have to win SC but he would need to lose by a razor thin margin to prevent the narrative going into Super Tuesday that Joe is invincible. Also don't sleep on the fact that Bernie is surging right as MN just had early voting. And california has early voting on the day of the iowa caucus. If Bernie can keep the delegate lead through SC by him overperforming in the first 3 and keep toe to toe on Biden up to super tuesday, a blowout in CA could put bernie in a delegate lead that changes the entire narrative of the race. Morning consult have bernie and biden statistically tied in super tuesday states so if Bernie can win big 3/4 states, lose by a slim margin (less than 5pts) in SC, that momentum and energy could put him over the top in super tuesday even with the southern firewall. And what's worse is that the rest of march and early april have a lot of open primaries and caucuses which will be to Bernie's benefit considering he's polling like near double digits better than anyone else including Biden among independents.
