I feel like her early music was quite lyrically complex for chart friendly radio pop songs i.e poker face, bad romance, judas, marry the night, alejandro etc with the exception of a few ofc. I understand why some fans may be disappointed/worried because as Gaga is evolving and maturing, I think some people are hoping for more deeper and experimental lyrics/sound. Personally, I'm not going to make any assumptions/judgements until the full song and video eventually come out as I feel like the visuals contribute a lot to Gaga's overall body of work. SL may not have the eloquence Your Song and Hey Jude but when you think of it, they’re considered to be among the best songs ever made. I miss the wit she had with her older pop hits, like inserting Hitchcock references in Bad Romance but there is nothing wrong with having fun. I mean the GP hated her during ARTPOP and part of it due to her over-complex and (**pretentious**) contents in her songs. In 2020, picky f words are useless and Stan Twitter hype is meaningless. Gaga picked the real GP since 2017 and it was the right decision in her entire career. Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall.
