Bad Romance was about obsession with celebrity and how she wanted it with all the best and worst part of it. The lyrics, albeit simple, really work in the song and her voice in HQ is transcedent. It's "safe" but still a damn good song and a great way to introduce the era, the radio is gonna eat it up, the clubs are definitely gonna eat it up with that beat. BE happy yall, it feels like a return to form but at the same time this is the Gaga following the 1 billion Shallow global hit.
