The margin of error can’t be 4.4% with only 93 respondents. The sample size is 500, not 93. You’re adding up percentage points. And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me! Florin just posted a poll without any commentary and you both make these kinds of ad hominem attacks... this is why so many people hate the Bernie Bros, they're a rabid group who says terrible things about anyone who dares to disagree with them. Truly the Little Monsters of politics. You all give your candidate a bad name. The other leftists on GGD should disavow your comments immediately or else we can assume they agree with them. Your time would be better spent trying to get your candidate out of the teens, than insulting others. Because while you're all trending things like #CNNIsTrash and calling Senator Warren a "lying snake," the moderate candidates are out on the ground winning over more and more voters. Priorities! You know, a couple of months ago I would've agreed with you. To be honest, my view of the "Bernie Bros" was one of distain. I had absolutely no problem with Bernie as a candidate, but I just didn't like some of the attitude that some of his supporters gave off. That said, that was a couple of months ago, when I still really avidly supported Warren. Now, it's time to be practical. This is a two-way race between Bernie and Biden. We are going to support either one of them, and in my opinion, Bernie is the way to go. If you want to talk about "priorities", let's talk about the actual candidates themselves. No matter how you feel about a candidate's supporters, take a look at what the candidate stands for and what they represent. Bernie has a progressive agenda that is supposed to shape and fundamentally change our country. That is something I believe we should be willing to fight for. Helping the middle and poor classes; taking on the wealth of greedy corporations; making climate change activism a priority; expanding reproductive rights (instead of diminishing them); fighting for POC and the LGBTQ community; making healthcare affordable and having seen as a right, not a privilege; etc. These are things that I think we should all be fighting for, and Bernie's the one to do that. The fact that you tried to point this out and got 5 LMAO reactions to me just proves your point further I'm rooting for Bernie myself but I think there's no denying some supporters (not all) are toxic and drag anyone that doesn't agree and shrug them off as ignorant. that being said the same can be said about many right wingers Ppl on different sides of political spectrum need to start being civil about discussions and less personal attacks... Ppl who have different opinions (especially on fluid stuff like economy) usually have valid points for believing what they do. Shrugging ppl off as ignorant just because they don't agree with you makes you the ignorant and close minded one. I hate seeing that regardless of which political side of the spectrum is making the attack I know that's very hard for most ppl but maybe humanity will one day learn to be a tiny bit more mature... Maybe they shouldn't but of course some folks gonna get shadier with them when they see that these same few users are not here to debate but just try to drag a candidate with low smearing techniques... They do that with bad faith then, out of all the cordial comments, jump right away on a less polite one to use it to play the "victim of the mean Sanders supporters". They have enough moral to make a speech about how these awful sanders supporters should be more correct to them as soon as one rude comment arrive but lose all morals when it comes to portray Sanders they don't like in unfair ways through many of their own comments... No wonders some gonna LMAO their "you guys need to behave" comments instead of putting a like on it since they know victimization is part of their smearing. 7 hours ago, Economy said: I'm rooting for Bernie myself but I think there's no denying some supporters (not all) are toxic and drag anyone that doesn't agree and shrug them off as ignorant. that being said the same can be said about many right wingers The same can be said about every candidate base actually. Folks should avoid to drag each other but if they were dealing with honest views that would probably be easier to not get shady. Maturity pass by cordial talk indeed and also by avoiding smearing I'm sure. I agree with all u said. But I do think there's quite a few Bernie supporters here that are always talking bad about centrists being toxic to Bernie but sometimes do the exact same thing even in cases where it isn't justified As u itself said, all candidates have at least some toxic supporters Human nature in general makes ppl not the best selves when it comes to politics When I discuss politics I always do my very best to listen and not shrug off someone else and just be civil Only if someone directly supports very racist and hateful ideology and stuff like that do I not really bother to listen to what they have to say or respect it cuz mentalities like white supremacy, prosecuting gays etc shouldn't be tolerated in 21st century. But then there's issues that are more fluid and arbitrary and less black and white like economy for example that involve many factors and can have many valid arguments and view points and I think it's more than a little arrogant and self righteous for anything to think they got it all down and everyone else is wrong For example Im a little more left overall than I used to be but it's not because I think right winged or centre winged economics are stupid or ignorant. It does have its logic to it, it's just that the way the modern economy has evolved in recent decades I don't think it works the way it once did (the direct link between general economic growth and what average person gains has greatly diminished to which I think there's many factors contributing to that now) and what I think is that some are thinking about the economy too traditionally still. Although for many reasons I still think going too far would backfire and do more harm than good. Like I support Bernie because I think hes taking inequality seriously and he has the right idea of the general direction America (and the developed world for that matter) need to go. However I'll be honest if I thought for a second he'd be able to pass every single thing or that the government would let him go all the way he wants to go on things I wouldn't support him as much cuz I do still think some of his ideas are too agressive and might backfire on investment especially Corporate taxes. I support him more for the general direction he wants to go and what he wants to try to deal with But my point I'm making is to make small adjustments in opinion over time you have to listen to people's views and new information to expand your take on things. Cuz if ppl are stubborn about opinions and shrug everyone else off that doesn't agree with them, you never learn anything and just stay a close minded individual

Now one argument I often saw is people saying "yes the positions are too "woke" to make this one a centrist but (s)he's sponsored by industries that aren't woke at all so I don't buy that (s)he's a progressive". That's one thing that come back quite often, even when for candidates who stopped having such "sponsors" and I do find it quite valid. It also makes me doubt the actual positions of the person, mainly since progressive speeches went way more popular in recent years and not all of these folks were as progressives 5 years ago... 4 hours ago, Economy said: When I discuss politics I always do my very best to listen and not shrug off someone else and just be civil Very true and that's a great thing! 4 hours ago, Economy said: Like I support Bernie because I think hes taking inequality seriously and he has the right idea of the general direction America (and the developed world for that matter) need to go.
