And it has disco and gospel influences on multiple songs and I love those two very much It’s less cohesive as an album, but it has some of my favorite Mariah songs. I prefer Caution as an album over MIAM actually. Like, I’d rather listen to Caution from start to finish. Same with Charmbracelet and Memoirs. That being said, I’d put more MIAM tracks in a ‘Top (fill in) Mariah Songs’ list. When I re-listened to MIAM, I did enjoy it a lot more than I did the first 2 times I listen to the album as a whole, but this is my 3rd time listening to E=MC^2 and I can say, I enjoyed MIAM a lot more.
