Critically endangered tree from the Jurassic era saved from Aus fires

They may be 'just a tree' to some people but they're 90 million years old, a type of 'living fossil' that were around the same time as the dinosaurs. Many people were worried the Australian bushfires destroyed them. They were discovered in 1994 and presumed extinct, known only from fossils.

Yay trees! :applause:

I love the greens, the forests. I am saddened about the fire. And can relate to personal level since my place are pretty much having this in yearly basis.
