... but in a different way than what she used to do when she was younger.

Yall need to understand that gaga was NOT going to wear 3 different wtf outfit everyday in her entire life. And her carrer is not just about doing controversial things (meat dress, judas...). We all know that a real timeless artist does not repeat the same thing evertime, you must renew yourself to keep being relevant and people and even gaga herself, would have had enough of all this controversy because at one point it's not shocking anymore.

Back in the "crazy" days, gaga wanted to do and to be everything at the same time. She wanted fame so bad, she really wanted to be recognized as an artist, so she did a LOT of different things in a short time so that she could be heard and spread her message quickly and massivly. But she just can't keep this fast life forever. She has her body pain and she works a lot. She understood that she needed to take her time to focus more on herself.

So she decided to explore even more her talent and her ideas by doing different things but that would still be herself. That's when C2C, Joanne and ASIB came. And THIS shocked people for real ! The gp didn't know that gaga had such an incredible voice, nobody excpected her to do a country album. And I still remember how people reacted when they saw her natural side in ASIB, literally nobody could recognize her and they were so shook. 

Shocking is not just about creating a controversy, it's also about showing people what they don't excpect to see and no one does that better than Gaga. 

And just like she said in her Oprah interview, society has changed and it became hard to shock the gp nowadays.

I think was a better idea having her being strange at the beginning of her career and then tone it down a little after, than having her being just normal at the beginning and then exploding into crazyness a decade later. Could've being seen as she was desperate for attention after flopping. But it's not the case, she's calm now because she has everything_she_ever_wanted.mp3 and she doesn't feel the need to embarrase herself ala Justino Bieber.

I dont think people want her to be shocking and over the top, most people simply want pop music.

For me, I want her to be theatrical, I dont care what kind of music she releases.

I actually disagree that it's become harder to shock people these days, I don't know why she said that.

Artists have been shocking the gp for decades, and I'm sure someone new will come along eventually and do the same.

I don't think Gaga has the right idea of shocking anymore. She thinks the world seeing her stripped back is a shock factor but what she doesn't realize is that even though many pop girls try to be shocking no one can do it as intricate as she does. We get it. Lady Gaga is a character now and not exactly who she always was like she used to mention which is fine but I think her return to being theatrical is exactly who Lady Gaga is. Even though Lady Gaga is a combination of things, I truly hope she can return to her ART/POP obsessed ways that started it all in the beginning. That is who most of the little monsters resonated with. A free spirit, rebellion, and dance music. I feel like it was more refreshing/shocking to see Gaga candids of her in jeans like in 2010-11 in the midst of a wearing high fashion the night before or something if that makes sense. I was there with her from the beginning and I am still here. I just really hope to see the ART from her again where her music was a mystery, and her videos were replay worthy. 

I love to see that she is a much better place now physically and mentally, but Gaga if you're reading for the sake of your ART put on the best performance of your life for us in the next era.
