The British music industry’s focus on the male solo artist at the expense of female musicians has been thrown into sharp relief by the nominations for the 2020 Brit awards, in which only one British woman – and no groups featuring women – was nominated across 25 slots in mixed-gender categories.

I was just going to ask about her. There's absolutely no reason why she shouldn't be nominated. 

She's a British gem so why aren't the Brits celebrating her?

I never understand what people want them to do... the awards are chosen by over 1000 voters. These are what 1000 people thought were the best, and it just so happens they are mostly male.
