Another day, another Madonna thread! :huntyga: But I think there's nothing wrong with it.

Some years ago, Madonna's earphone recordings were leaked. That was during her Rebel Heart Show in Tokyo. I'll post some records below, and you'll be able to hear Madonna's vocal and strange guy's voice: he tells Madonna where to go on stage, what lyrics go next etc.

And the question is, how do you think, does Gaga have the same thing? In my opinion, it's a little bit inconveniently because you need to focus on what's going on on stage, on what you're singing, so I think that Gaga doesn't use it.

I'm sure she does. Gaga messed up the words to Bad Romance, her biggest hit. I'm sure she has someone singing The Fame and Beautiful Dirty Rich in her ear at Enigma.

Thanks for sharing

I think almost everyone uses this lind of things? Like, how are you supposed not to mess up a single lyric? Or the timings?

Yeah but it's clearly different

That strange guy's voice is pre recorded, it's like a track that plays along to the music in Madonna's ear.

Gaga can't clearly use this kind of thing wher playing piano, as she doesn't follow a "schedule" she just does what she wants (lol)

People do communicate with her through the in-ears monitors. When her tits fell out of her little purple one piece at an Enigma show, she told the audience everyone was warning her :ladyhaha:.

During a modern concert, musicians and their audience have two extremely different experiences. It's very likely she's listening to a click track, count ins, stage directions, etc and comparatively little instrumental music. Modern recording is similar. Taylor Swift talks about click tracks in bts footage from the End Game video. I genuinely hate thinking about her lip syncing to a metronome, idk why.

So, it's not just like "Okay guys, let's do it like we did it on rehearsals!". :enigma: I can't imagine how difficult it is for artists to perform in this regime. :enigma:
