Guest
Iran and Hezbollah both declared Sunday that retribution for the killing of Soleimani should target the U.S. military presence in the Middle East and not U.S. citizens. "There are many U.S. civilians in our region — engineers, businessmen, journalists. We will not touch them. Touching any civilian anywhere in the world will only serve Trump’s policy." "The true, just retribution for those who conducted this assassination is an institution, which is the U.S. military. We will launch a battle against those killers, those criminals. We do not mean the American people." While America already just killed civilians in Iraq, and threatened to attack 55 cultural sites with civilians. Not to mention sanctions targeting Iranian civilians. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/01/05/middleeast/iran-soleimani-khamenei-adviser-intl/index.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/gdpr-consent/?destination=%2fworld%2fmiddle_east%2fhezbollah-says-retribution-for-soleimanis-death-must-target-us-military-not-civilians%2f2020%2f01%2f05%2f50869828-2e62-11ea-bffe-020c88b3f120_story.html%3f
thatfoxyfeeling 13,401
Iranian state television is reporting that a stampede has killed 40 people and injured more than 200 at a procession for Soleimani in his hometown of Kerman. The burial of the Iranian military commander, who was killed in a US airstrike last week, has now been postponed after the casualties.

I'm not going to apologize for defending citizens' rights to live without threats of violence from unhinged world leaders If you want Iran attacking innocent US citizens, or the US attacking Iran's cultural sites, go ahead and stan for it. I wont. I cant believe I'm literally having this conversation right now. Like, are you really denouncing Iran for saying that they don't want to attack innocent civilians? Sigh. Careful that you don't reflexively say something you don't mean. Even a broken clock is right twice a day: if Iran is rejecting attacks against civilians, they are right to do so, even if they are wrong about everything else. President Trump should not attack Iran's cultural sites; there's no reason to and it's a violation of long-held international norms for which America should continue to be a shining example. homomo 23,883
This is great news. It just goes to show how scary and ruthless the American government (Mainly Trump and his administration) truly is. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111
HorusRa2 5,005
The fact that the country of Iran who has been the victim of US Aggression for so long is saying that its qualm is with the leaders of America and not the American people speaks volumes about the character of the Iranians when compared to Trump who says he is willing to attack cultural sites, which is an international war crime. The US just wants to create regime change in Iran so it can have ANOTHER puppet government and to continue making money for the defense contractors of our country. I love America and I am proud to be an American; however, the best form of patriotism is dissent and I argue that every American should be against all of the activities that Trump is engaging with regard to Iran. derpmonster 22,412
Imagine when Iran has more moral conscience. How long are Americans going to pretend they're not the bad guys? 4 hours ago, ssslyboy said: No, Trump should not be “taking notes” from Iran. This is a preposterous thing to say. Are you being daft on purpose? Iran is making it a point not to attack civilians and YES Trump should take notes. The US has been too happy to attack civilians in the past few decades and it's disgusting. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

Hold on guys, I think he tried to say that Trump shouldn't take notes on Soleimani's repression regime. Might be wrong tho. Either way, you know you can both criticise US imperialism AND admit that Iran is an imperialist country in the Middle East. You can be against Trump's politics, say that he's going full war criminal AND acknowledge that Soleimaani is a war criminal too, who orchestrated several ethnic cleansings. There is no sides. US imperialism existed long before Trump. Obama, Bush and every contemporary US president (to my knowledge) are all war criminals. All have blood on their hands.
