By the time the fanbase is organized and still playing it cause its only a few hours old still, the GP will discover it on New Music Friday, TTH, leading to a bigger Friday than it would have had previously. It sounds kind of silly but labels keep doing it so it clearly works. Just recently we had 2 #1 debuts after non-Friday releases (Heartless and Lose You To Love Me) This is the right answer.
