Gaga appears twice on the list for the best-selling singles of all time in the UK (pure sales). "Poker Face" is at #94 and "Bad Romance" is at #143. They're are the 2nd and 3rd best-selling songs from 2009, with "I Gotta Feeling" by the BEP being 1st at #44. There are no songs from 2014-2020 on the list.

I was looking at lists of best to worst Bond songs and Madonna’s Die Another Day is at the bottom on every list. They really hate her. :selena:

She couldn’t even get nominated at the oscars with a BOND song aka the easiest way to do so, let alone win :rip:

Happy (#8) and Blurred Lines (#23) being the best-selling singles from this century. UK really chose the worst earworm songs ever :icega:

Is Top 5 debut happening for 2021 BOS? The today freefall didn't look reassuring.

The song is simply atrocious. Why not admit that? :oprah:

Idk if it is the worst because I haven't listened to all but I don't think that there are a lot of Bond songs worse than Madonnas.

I mean yeah but when I was younger, they play it on MTV and VH1 all the time so I thought it was like a big hit for her. It’s just funny to me how every list of Bond songs collectively put her at the bottom.

Does it matter? Damage is done

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP IS NOW AN $8BN-A-YEAR COMPANY, AS STREAMING REVENUES SURGE 21.5% IN RECORD 2019

As the biggest recorded music company in the streaming age, the impressive amount of dollar pulled in by UMG often serves up some sizzling headlines. Today, for example, we could have gone with Universal is now generating over $11m every day from streaming. It would have been fun, and true (the firm generated €921m, or $1.02bn, in recorded music streaming revenues in Q4 2019, according to parent Vivendi’s new financials, published today.)

Good news for retailers: UMG’s physical recorded music revenues grew in 2019, up 3.1% year-on-year to €1.01bn ($1.14bn).

Universal’s biggest revenue-generating recorded music artists/projects, globally and in order, across 2019 were: (i) Billie Eilish (pictured); (ii) Post Malone; (iii) Taylor Swift; (iv) Ariana Grande; (v) A Star Is Born OST.
