As someone with fibro I can relate to so much of what she said and it means so much to have someone of Gaga's status and fame behind the cause to try and find help for people with this illness. She's totally right about radical acceptance. I couldn't have carried on without completely accepting my situation and trying to deal with it in the best way possible. I really hope people will lay off her when it comes to moaning about the lack of albums etc. She's working hard to get through each day and be healthy, it really doesn't matter in the scheme of things when she next tours or releases music. The radical acceptance method is something that I’m going to incorporate into my life. It sounds like something that would be very effective to help deal with different kinds of negative emotions so that you can begin the process of healing your mind and body

I'm so glad that she got through all of that and feels better now and is in control of her pain and emotions. Her confidence, determination, passion for what she does and believes is truly amazing and inspiring, only a person with a really strong mindset would have done what she did in her career and life which is why I always trust her. The feelings that she gives me not only as an artist but as a human being just makes me want to love her even more for who she is. Gaga is such a strong woman that has truly grown over the years. The amount of strength that you would need to bare your vulnerabilities on a stage in a room full of people and then know that the rest of the world is also watching you is just incredible. As someone that’s been following Gaga since 2008 I’m just so damn proud of her

It's possible to be emphatic to her physical and mental limitations while being critical of her artistic ventures. I wish her well, and if she can't be well, I wish her the ability to use her pain in a fruitful way. Reveal hidden contents Here is a bedridden Kahlo, planning her neutral pallet launch. I don't mind criticism if its presented in a respectful, mature manner. However there are fans on this site who completely disregard how hard Gaga works and say stuff like, "She is so lazy" "Gaga is no longer passionate about her work and has sold out" "Omg she hates her fans" "Disrespects her fans by not touring" even though its literally for her own health. Some of the fans here present their particular viewpoints in very inconsiderate ways. Also the same people complaining about Engima or Haus Labs (saying pretty much the same thing over and over) whenever a new thread is created gets quite old and redundant. I've said this before, but it adds nothing new to these threads aside from repeated negativity.

She doesn't want us to blindly follow her and devour everything she throws at us. She respects and expects us all to be different and that she can't cater to everyone all the time. Haven't watched the full interview yet, but it's really brave and touching. Personally I find it very confrontational hearing her say all these things out loud confirming what I felt was going on back then. On the one hand knowing all those times I was feeling Gaga wasn't doing well, I wasnt wrong is comforting, but it also makes me very very sad. Especially since I was able to sense it from so far away, basically barely knowing her at all, while some people that were close to her were ignoring the signs, or pushing her even further. She's such a strong woman and I am forever grateful I listened to the girl behind the mask early on, because she is a remarkable person and helped me a great deal recognizing my own struggles and dealing with them the best way, which is ongoing. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I’ve shared my thoughts on those projects in their respective threads. But if you are genuinely curious you can always PM me. The Frida comparison was to show how some artists are able to turn physical pain into beautiful art. Frida was one example, but there are obviously many examples of artists being at their most prolific in spite of being mentally or physically unwell. It wasn’t about “churning out work.”

julz 7,261
Just watched the full interview, and I am very happy for all the new people watching her and learning from her. What i like about this interview (and some of her interviews really) is that she remains relatable, she connects to Oprah and the audience, she remains present, she respects others beliefs, and she is specific, straight to the point. She is definitely smart but to be effective, she explains in a way that is...effective. When she was asked about LG6 (thank you Oprah for trying), she didnt stray away to the topic, which she always does. She sticks to the agenda. Through out these years, she sticked to her mission, her vision. Consistent. And I like that she said that she is perfectly imperfect. This interview, a great watch to start 2020. I'll say it again, i stanned the right pop star. Another thing, she said that it's not just music that is her superpower, there's more. We know acting is another but there are something more to look out for, for this new decade. This Oprah tour series is already a success, just with this one. WORLDofGAGA 2,274
THIS is why I love her, she has taught me and I’m sure many of us about ourselves and the world! Even through all the pain and the amount she hid she was still empowering us and has saved some of our lives with her message and bravery. She truly is an inspiration and a true force of bravery and strength. I hope Gaga is thought of now and forever not just for her music, crazy fashion or even acting but the changes she has made, her IMPACT, to use her voice for good, KINDNESS and that she kept her promise, that she’s changing the world one sequin at a time, thank you Gaga x Edit: I cant wait to see her other superpowers, she’s shown so many and I have no doubt she has many more, just when you think you know her @W0RLDofGAGA

Gaga absolutely deserves to do whatever she wants or feels is right, even if that means more Enigma/Haus Labs. For example, taking an extended break from touring for health reasons is NOT disrespectful to the international fans at all, nor does it mean that she isn't passionate about what she does anymore. These are completely false "criticisms" that people have been sharing over and over simply because Gaga hasn't been doing exactly what they wanted (those that have portrayed these opinions in a rude or immature manner specifically). We should be grateful that she is still even able to perform, and perhaps help spread her message of love/kindness instead of criticizing everything. Thank y’all for spreading the love in this thread I wish Gaga would visit this topic and see how much we love her and how she inspires us to be better people
NT78 1,230
This is called growing up and learning who you really are. Some people think this happens in your teens. It doesn't. Some people think it happens in your 20s. Nope. For most people, it happens in your 30s and beyond. By 40, most people FINALLY know themselves and start living a full life with the knowledge of who they are and how their struggles have molded them into the person they were meant to become. Gaga has matured into such a remarkable woman. She is quite an inspirational human being and she speaks the truth. I love to see it. I hope people listen to what she has to say and find the strength to keep going in the face of adversity. It's a powerful message.
