Toronto Long-Time Iconic Red Street Cars Retired

For 42 years they were in service. Their unique sound and build made them stand out and ppl could tell certain footages were in Toronto just by the street cars

 

The last of the street cars are now retired and will be replaced by new lower rise easier to access street cars that are also made for more comfort. The city kept the new ones red in order to keep tradition

 

Despite the improvements residents say they will miss the old ones because they were so iconic
