Bisexual people DO NOT and NEVER WILL have to explain themselves to other people in the queer community or cis heterosexuals. Gaga literally has a song about an orgy like sis has PLENTY of sex and plenty of songs hinting as lesbian encounters Poker Face - "She's got me like nobody" Gaga on The Fuse said it was inspired by her fantasying about A GIRL Sexxx Dreams - "Heard your boyfriend was away this weekend, wanna meet at my place?" Unless she's talking about a gay man... then... So Happy I Could Die - "I love that lavender blonde, the way she moves, the way she talks. I touch myself, can't get enough" Americano - "SHE sang in eighths and two barrio chords, we FELL IN LOVE but not in court" Yo like she's bisexual let it go. The way you're setting everything up this bi-erasure makes you a biphobe X

Chill. Learn to disagree with people. I made a comment about Lady Gaga who happens to be a public figure. I never said bisexual (or gay, hetero, pan, etc.) people should explain to me or anyone their lives. I don't need to know what's your dating status nor did I ask for it. Because being gay comes with the full package baby. It's full solidarity with EVERYONE in this community, except Halsey stans. Get your bi-erasure away from here. Begone! Is more than just saying you are. You said so yourself that Gaga shouldn't assume that Katy hasn't kissed any girl before, but here you are, assuming that Gaga isn't actually bi just cuz she's never had any experiences with the same sex. Do you not see how hypocritical that sounds? Also, entering a same-sex relationship isn't the only way to confirm someone's sexuality. People shouldn't even have to prove their sexuality to anyone really. Being single while being LGBTQ+ is a thing you know.

nathantj594 901
This is an innocent question I swear! Every bi guy I ask in real life always gets pissed when I ask so I never get a straight answer... How come when bisexual people get in a homosexual relationship, and it is a hella lasting relationship. Like marriage and house and cats and even kids. How come they (like years later) still call themselves bi? I have a friend who came out as bi in high school and has yet to ever date a girl as long as I’ve known him (almost 10 years now) and has only had sex with a girl once (in a three-way with a guy) and has been in a monogamous guy-guy relationship with a fully gay dude for more than 5 years now. They have the house and the marriage and the cats and are considering kids. He still calls himself bi. If I got married to a bi guy and after half a decade and a house together, he still said there was a chance he might leave me for a woman?!!!! Why not just be fully gay at that point? I’m not trying to criticize either. I’m just curious. A lifelong same-sex commitment seems like it should be labeled as a gay relationship. Every time I ask him he gets very defensive and says “well we might not be together forever and feelings don’t change like that” but he’s ****ed like 50 guys from ages [redacted] to like 75. And why get married to someone and brag about how committed you are if you think you might not be together forever? I mean if he died that would different. Can someone explain this to me because I really don’t understand. And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me!

Expressing my opinion about something doesn't make anyone ignorant. My comments were not targeted towards the sexuality of yours or anyone we both know at a personal level. My opinion was about my skepticism about Lady Gaga's bisexuality. I was not talking about the whole community but rather just about just this particular very well known legendary public figure. So don't use that term because you don't know me and is pretty clear that my comments about one person were made out to be as if I was talking about the whole community. You. Are. Ignorant. And you're having fun being a troll. Someone get a moderator or something. We do not need your bi-erasure here ESPECIALLY since this is an online safe space for LMs whom many are queer. People rather you ask questions from your heart rather than some assholes ^ like you're currently doing. Anyways, invalidating bisexuality is simply just not it. Bisexuality is once again, simple attraction to male and female dichotomy for the most part. There are plenty of men who are much older that were never able to come out because of homophobia and biphobia in their communities. I leave you with a rhetorical question: Does this make them heterosexual if they've been in a relationship with a woman their entire life and have kids? You don't stop being capable of being attracted to more than one gender just because you're in a relationship with someone. The same way you don't stop being gay when you're single. Bisexuality simply means being attracted to more than one gender and it isn't defined by who you're currently in a relationship with nor does it evaporate over time. They can choose to label their relationship as a gay relationship because it's between people of the same gender and it's simpler to convey to outsiders but that doesn't mean all the parts in said relationship identify as gay. Bi people get offended when you ask this question because it implies bisexuality is a phase or a liminal state until you reach a "true" and "valid" sexuality which is utter bullshit and a big part of bi erasure rhetoric. Hope that explained it.
