In the debate he defended his billionaire donors and now he’s trying to seem like he’s a grassroots candidate. This may seem like dumb sh*t to someone who doesn’t have standards regarding who they support, but for everyone else this kind of stuff is slimy and embarrassing. This is dumb. He should just be straight up and say "I'm not going to play this game with Warren and Sanders. I'll get my money and use it in a way I believe is good." He's trying to play by their rules and they're WAAAY better at it than he is. This is a losing strategy imo and makes me question his judgement. It’s because Pete is aware that no one likes money in politics. Instead of just swearing off his big dollar fundraisers, he’d rather try and cover them up with this cheap slimy trick

Warren has asked me like 80 times to donate to her so I can enter to win a free beer ("or coffee or whatever!") with her and her husband and her dog His is just focused on getting particularly small contributions. There is a difference in asking for donations in general and giving a reward vs literally requesting a small donation for the purpose of distorting the overall individual donation average. I've gotten several stickers from Senator Sanders for donating. There has NEVER been a time that the request was to submit a small amount for the purpose of lowering the average contribution number because he got called out for doing a fundraiser in a wine cave with a bunch of millionaires and billionaires. That's the difference.
Economy 52,935
Didn't Bernie also ask for small multiple donations to bring down average? What's the difference

ltlmnstr 2,771
I got a Pete ad about abolishing the electoral college to help him win. I rolled my eyes. Especially after he said he wouldn't expand the Supreme Court. He's just a-okay with a conservative majority. A laugh.

I don't want to debate political philosophies right now for a while or debate sides of political ideologies Simple generic questions or comments that don't lead to arguments are fine. I've still made some comments on some threads as long as it's of a neutral nature. I've found that's enough to avoid the kinds of annoying bickering and toxic attitudes in trying to escape for a while To answer ur question no u have to be Americans to donate to campaigns other wise it would be considered foreign democracy meddling
