Not to mention that incredible whistle register note she hit for that O Holy Night cover. But all the stuff she's put out recently has shocked me by how basic, generic and boring it is. She's such a talented vocalist and writes all her own stuff, how she can think this is acceptable? Maybe her label are pushing her to be very mainstream and maybe they told her to write stuff that didn't sound like a Sweet But Psycho rip-off after So Am I got a lot of backlash for sounding exactly like it. But I can't say its all worked out in her favour. Still no big follow-up hit, still no album. By the time it gets released, if ever, no one's going to know or care.
