LGMonster95 13,704
I don't believe in any God, I used to believe in it when I was a kid but as I grow up I learned to not be afraid to ask questions and also to find my answers about this whole thing (I'm the only one in my family who "dared" to question this whole idea of God). I usually look at the Universe or Multiverse (if you believe in this theory) as the absolute force but I don't pray to it or anything. As for things like Christmas, it doesn't have to be a religious thing, it's just a fun time to spent either with your family, friends etc

HotLikeMexico 5,193
I just wish people on this site would be respectful. If you’re atheist great. If you believe in God great. I wish both sides would be respectful because both do to the other side the same thing the other does. I personally believe in something. I dunno if it’s God per se but I think it’s selfish to think we are just here because of our own accord. There are somethings science can’t explain. as far as religion, i do not believe religion is the problem. Sure some are extreme but at the end of the day it’s “man’s” inability to not be prejudice or spread hate, and man’s own words twisting narratives to hurt and destroy others. there are religions out there that preach love and respect regardless of who you are, where you come from. Do you really think that things happen in your life for a purpose that makes you stronger or teaches you a lesson? I'm always be grateful to this God because He teaches me everything in my life and shape me as I am today. But that God I believe is not the one religion created. I don't like the way religion describes and interprets that God. (In my case is the Catholic Church). I'm sorry if I coincidently disrespect someone's belief, but this is a post about it and I'm just share my view. You said it best. I grew up catholic and I’m catholic because of tradition and culture. But I dunno if I’m really catholic if that makes sense. I believe in “God” Just not religion. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
holy scheisse 22,274
I believe in the Universe, and science, as well as things like energy and auras. I usually thank "the universe" rather than "thanking God" if ya know what I mean
L E O 6,035
No, but I do believe in science. I like the Idea of a God/force/whatever that can help people. I hate that it's mostly being known for the doing the opposite. The only irrationnal thing I do believe in is karma (and even that would be more like I WANT to believe in it rather than actually believing in it)

With all the crazy stuff I’ve been through in life, I know something up there is watching over me. im not one to shove my beliefs down someone’s throats and I’m not super religious but I do pray to god here and there just to keep me going and having a positive outlook sometimes!! Can you explain maybe a situation that made you feel the presence of a higher self ? 🤖
