Earnings are confidential and "industry experts" can only provide a rough estimate. Artists' income go through a private company which does not reveal its finances. Only data from artists' themselves are accurate. Pollstar doesn't know the percentage of gross the artist gets either. The "senior editor" might as well been an intern because the biggest achievement in his profile is graduating from Yale LOL. He has no influence or worthwhile insights except that he works for Forbes. Next. The article literally says where they get their informations from which also states artists themselves. All of your points are based on baseless assumptions when the information you need is right there in the article. Next.

My points aren't baseless assumptions because I, for a fact, know how corporate finances work. The only time artists' incomes are fully revealed is when they file for taxes. The end. Your point, on the other hand, is based on the reliability of the information provided by Forbes, which has NOT been verified. Haha

Haha assumption #1: the writer being an intern, like you literally pulled that out of nowhere. assumption #2: that their info is by default wrong when you have no proof stating otherwise. If you're gonna discredit an article that was published by a reputable magazine and cited by many other publications, that not only does this often and has access to industry experts and labels, but also the artists themselves, then at least present something with substance. 👁👄👁
