I saw it coming in the last few minutes so before I depart, I want to explain it. I didn't imagine how any single song by the hated royal could save France if it's just about 'please calm down' or 'let's get free' or whatever. However I definitely saw how a lively song about an entirely new way of life could turn people's minds onto what's really important in life. Rule number one is that you gotta have fun. Rule number two, just don't get attached too. Rule number four, gotta be looking pure (you don't imagine those people bathed too often, no?) With the right perspective, this song is all about self-care and first trying to solve problems on a personal level before pointing fingers. Or going for the Versailles with pitchforks and torches.
