Well as long as no one was angry I guess it's a good sign..? :messga:

But I always thought Singapore has a very vibrant gay scene?? Is it just legally there isn't much recognition or is it socially as well?

Everyone I've met from Singapore has been super progressive and it seemed like the norm to me there.

There's still a law that bans male gay sex here, even if it's rarely enforced. But that kinda speaks about the country's general attitude towards the LGBT. At best it's indifference or ignorance. Younger people are more accepting though.

As for vibrant gay scene...I tried going into a supposedly popular gay bar and literally everyone there were white straight folks and they were playing Migos on the speakers, so...

Literally the same as the Emirates except the "gay bars" are usually just regular bars that "feminine men" like to frequent.

Ugh, I know change doesn't happen overnight but I'm just so tired. I want a middle eastern version of DragCon ffs.

Where is this at? The nice gay bars I know in SG is in China town. Along the Maxwell road. Went to few and had a great time. Most who went there were gay men. So does everyone who worked there.

Maybe its because I went in alone, didn't really have anyone to socialize with. It can be quite lonely.

homomo

Just watched the film and saw this part. Like it was for literally 1 second, not even.

Conservatives all over the world are always so easily offended by these things. It’s amusing to know just a simple kiss can turn them angry ;)

Lmao really? Did you figure out the entire ending to the saga because you saw the LGBT tag on a forum and then clicked into it knowing it was a spoiler? Go complain about something else / somewhere else.

OT: I love that Disney throws in little things like this to piss off the conservatives, I just wish they would keep it rather than edit it out when they’re faced with the negative criticism.
